We work with local churches for their renewal in the Holy Spirit.
Inevitably this brings new vision, challenge and opportunities, and we continue to support them as they develop prayer, healing, worship and ministry.

James Lazarus - Development Manager

James became the Development Manager of ReSource in October 2018.

James is delighted to be joining ReSource. He has felt called to work for the Gospel and is hoping to utilise his operational experience to help position Resource for a period of sustained growth.

James has lived in London for almost all his life. He studied Politics at Bristol University and then had a varied career. He spent 25 years in the City working for a few large financial services groups including over 18 years at NatWest Bank. In 2009 James joined the Not for Profit Sector, first working for a Trade Association and then spent four years as Bursar of Hertford College Oxford.

James comes from a Jewish family but converted whilst at University and has been a committed Christian since then, currently serving in his local Church, St Johns West Ealing where he is on the PCC and supports his wife who runs Alpha. He also contributes to a couple of projects at Holy Trinity Brompton including the mentoring of an ex-offender.

James has three Children who are all in their 20’s. He loves watching a range of sport including his beloved football team QPR who currently languish in the Championship, and cricket at Lords. He also likes to attend films and the theatre with Mary. He is an avid reader and is fascinated, if confused, by UK and American politics.

Merisa MacInnes - Associate

Merisa MacInnes has worked in the Christian charity sector for over 30 years in marketing and communications.  She began her career with World Vision, a global NGO focussed on child and community development and has travelled widely in Africa and Asia. 

Merisa also has also been employed as Youth for Christ’s Director of Marketing and Communications and has been undertaking varied freelance Christian charity work for many years.  She has worked in recent years globally in radio with Feba Radio and Trans World Radio (TWR).  This included filming and interviewing people living in remote communities to highlight the importance of radio into forgotten, dangerous places.

Merisa is a trustee of SOMA UK (an Anglican mission organisation), an Associate of the Christian Distinctives Trust, and member of the Lords and Commons Family and Child Protection Group.  She regularly helps charities with their PR and media communications.  She has a particular passion for developing leaders, and ministry with women and children in poor parts of the world.  Merisa is divorced, but to her surprise now engaged to be married again.  She has two grown up sons, Angus and Miles, and she would love a pet parrot
