The Director will be working with a project manager and a small discernment group to oversee the conversations, meetings and prayer in the ReSource Future process. We are delighted to have such a strong and godly group working on this, and we shall add to the group as needed. Do please pray for them as they meet together every six weeks or so and as they work with the Trustees through to the end of the year. Here are some brief words of introduction.
Christopher joined ReSource in 2017 as Manager of the ReSource Future Project, having recently completed a curacy serving in the United Benefice of St Luke’s West Kilburn and Emmanuel Harrow Road, in the London diocese. In September 2017, he joined the clergy team at St Aldates Oxford, with particular responsibility for ministry with postgraduate students.
Christopher is married to Carolyn and they have two energetic young sons and are expecting their third child soon.
Michael retired to the Lake District in 2015, after twenty-two years as Vicar of Christ Church Chislehurst. He has a background in Law and Teaching and currently enjoys cycling and walking, and being involved in Ministry locally. He is married to Jenny and they have three adult children.
Naomi lives in Derbyshire with her husband, Ben and their dog, Beatrix. They moved there from Durham after ordination training for Naomi to serve as a pioneer curate; helping people meet God where they are. Life involves walking the dog, being at the gym, chatting..and some prayer!
Carolyn was until recently Projects Development Officer for Carlisle Diocese. Her primary work involved developing nine new network youth churches across Cumbria and overseeing the diocesan internship programme. Carolyn and husband Colin worship at Ulverston Parish Church. Carolyn is on the healing prayer team and a home group leader. They have two married sons.
Penny is a child of God, wife to Will and mum to an amazingly energetic 3 year old. She loves Jesus, enjoys chatting over a cuppa or singing her heart out in worship. Her perfect evening would be watching a good film or any quality of theatre, when babysitters allow.
She had a background in personnel and social work, before being called into ordained ministry. For the last 5 years, she has been Priest in Charge of St. Luke's, a small and growing church on an estate in Carlisle.
Tim was previously Vicar of St Thomas', Kendal and is now the Director of the 'Transforming Wigan' movement. He works with leaders and followers determined to see the Kingdom of God come in Wigan as in Heaven. Tim is passionate about helping disciples of Jesus to follow closely, listen intently and act courageously in the power of the Spirit. He is married to Sue.
