Thank you to all those who have contributed articles to the Newsletter, and our congratulations to one of our contributors, Fr Steven Benford, on his recent election to be the next Bishop of Dunedin in New Zealand. This is great news.
The ReSource Future process is taking shape for the autumn, and Christopher Landau gives more details about this in the Newsletter. Can I particularly draw your attention to:
- The ReSource Future questionnaire, which you can find at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/resourcefuture or access via the website or on hard copy by request to the office. We would love to hear your views as we listen for God’s call on ReSource for the future. Please complete this by the deadline of 31 July 2017
- The ReSource website, www.resource-arm.net, which has been refreshed for the ReSource Future discernment period, and which will be regularly updated
- The new ReSource Twitter account @ReSourceARM. Do follow us for regular updates and information about our work and about ReSource Future
- The ReSource Future Evenings, Holy Spirit Guide Us!, with worship, word, ministry and a chance to reflect with us on how God is guiding ReSource for its future. I’m sorry that we can’t come to a location that is easily convenient to everyone, but we would love to see you and hear from you if you are able to come. Further details on the final page of the Newsletter and full details by following the links below to the ReSource website:
We are so grateful to be in fellowship with you and to be able to share the journey of this discernment period with a company of fellow travellers who share our heart for deeper spiritual renewal, for the church’s wider mission. Please engage with us in the ReSource Future process as best you can. And please pray for those of us who through the autumn will be meeting church leaders, and partner organisations. Our longing is that through it all we will hear God, and find his clear mandate for a future in which we can serve well God’s people in the churches of the UK and beyond. Please also pray for our regular ministry which continues with a range of engagements through the autumn and into 2018.
With love and prayer
