I hope that you will enjoy reading our Winter 2018 Newsletter which you can find in the link above. You will find an article on page 2 by Bishop John Holbrook, the new Chair of the ReSource Trustees, along with testimonies and reports from recent ReSource events, and updates on our development plans. I realise that these are busy weeks for many of you as Christmas approaches, but I hope that you will be able to find a few quiet moments to catch up on ReSource news. You will also find a link above to the ReSource Prayer Diary for the next quarter, which will inform your prayers for us.
The initial response to our Funding Appeal has been encouraging. I realise that not everyone is in a position to respond financially, not least because of other giving commitments, but can I thank you for taking the time to read my Appeal Letter and for your support for ReSource in prayer and other ways. All the Appeal documents are on the website at http://www.resource-arm.net/index.php/2018-appeal.
Should you feel prompted to contribute to the Appeal please know that there is still time to do so! We still need a further £120,000 before the end of 2019 to cover the costs of the appointments and organisation we shall need to launch an expanded work, with a team of ministry Associates and local coordinators. We have made a great start, as you will read in the Newsletter, but there is still some way to go. We so long to be able to make a wider and deeper impact, to enable little, local and ordinary churches to engage with the Holy Spirit for renewal, discipleship and mission! Any financial gift that you can make will help us to make that vision a reality.
This comes with my prayers and very best wishes for these coming weeks of Advent, Christmas and Epiphany, and for a blessed and Spirit-filled new year.
